Disneyland Trip

We recently took a little family trip to Disneyland. We had a blast and here are some pictures to prove it:
Here's Pluto. Addy called him "puppy" and wanted to see him everyday. I know what you are thinking..."Gosh, Mindy is getting fat....again." Don't feel bad about your thoughts because you are correct. We are going to have a baby sister for Addy to play with in a few month!!!Addy and me with Goofy, another "puppy" that she loved.
Us with the man himself, Mickey Mouse.
Tyler and Addy on a ride in a Bug's Life.

Addy in front of some Halloween decor. The park looked adorable.

We went to Mickey's Trick or Treat Party in California Adventures one night. Most of rides were closed, except the rides on the Pier, and the kids got to trick or treat all around the park. A lot of the characters were out for the kids to meet. I couldn't believe how many people were there. I also couldn't believe the mass amount of candy we got. We only stopped at about half of the trick or treat spots too!!
We took a day off from Disneyland and went to a car show. Addy picked out a car she would like for her Super Sweet 16.
Tyler and Addy on the Dumbo ride. This was one of her favorites.
Tyler, Addy and Mr. Potato Head waiting to ride Toy Story's Midway Mania. This was my favorite ride.
Addy ready to watch the Muppet's 3D movie.
It was so fun to watch Addy see everything and get excited. She really liked Fantasyland, A Bug's Life and the Play House Disney show. Her favorite things were the parades though. She would wave and dance the entire time.

Marriage by the Numbers

Tyler and I recently celebrated our anniversary and I wanted to highlight some of our significant numbers:

1- The number of beautiful babies we have brought into the world.
Our first Christmas as a married couple with a baby.

2- The number of diplomas we have earned as a married couple. Tyler is a T-Bird and I am truly a Rebel.

3- The number of homes we have owned. Eeekkk.

Tyler painting the garage of one of the above mentioned homes. Don't they make painting masks for that sort of task?

4- The number of "real" vacations we have taken. Vacation means actually picking a destination (besides visiting family for the weekend) and actually planning vacation-like things to do while we are there.

The view from the "cheap seats" at a Broncos game while on one of our vacations.

5- The number of times we have moved.

6- The number of years we have been married.

I love you, Tyler. Happy Anniversary!!!!

Memory Game

I know that I win the prize for the worst blogger on the planet. My problem is that our computer is less than adequate at downloading pictures and I feel like I am letting everyone down if there are no pictures in a post. Oh well. This post has exactly zero pictures, but I assure everyone that Addy is cuter than ever. I will also work on a picture post soon.

I have seen this game on a few blogs and decided to do it:

1. As comment, post a memory you have with me so matter how long or short of time you have known me. If you leave a memory then I will assume you are playing and will leave a memory post on your blog.

2. Leave this same post on your blog to play along too.

3. Enjoy

Easter Fun

We had such a fun Easter. We spent it with Tyler's family this year. We took all the kids to an Easter Egg Hunt at the city park. Look at that little bug load her bucket up.

Tyler's parent hosted another Easter Egg Hunt that afternoon, but we didn't get any still-shots of that one.

We stayed and played at the park for awhile after the hunt. Here is Addy and some of her cousins going down the slide. She could go down all by herself. She is getting too big.

Here is her first Easter egg. She chose to decorate it with princess stickers. Okay, I might have strategically placed the princess stickers within her reach.

She looked so beautiful in her Easter dress on Sunday.
Here is our family. Thanks to Tyler's parents for the great weekend.

Project Number One.....

This weekend Tyler and I started our first major house project in this house.... Addy's room. The entire house is painted in this brown color, which we really like and will keep in most of the house, but not in a little girl's room. Here is what it looked like when we started.

This is what it looks like now, which is just crazy looking, but will all come together after Tyler puts up the bead board. My mom is passing through town on a little vacation/family visit, so Addy and I are going to jump in with her. Tyler and his friend, Nushawn will enjoy the bachelor lifestyle while I am gone and are supposed to finish the room. I don't know if Nushawn knows that is what he will be doing, but will find out soon enough.
You can see that we were both too lazy to paint the closet white, which we will probably regret later. It just seemed like such a hassle to move everything out of it and paint all of those little shelves when the doors should be closed anyway. Hey, maybe Nushawn would do that too?????

The Little Girl

A couple that I went to high school with lives close by us. You've got to love high school sweethearts. Anyway, their little girl is a few months older than Addy. They went sledding the other day and had so much fun. Addy is the one with the yellow blanket; I know it is hard to tell under all the winter clothing.

These are just some pictures of her that I think are adorable.

Benefits of a Smaller Town

I just wanted everyone to know, especially the Vegas subscribers, that I had to go to the DMV to get a new Driver's License today. I even had to take a written test, get a new photo, etc....

9:05 am- Time I left my house.
10:20 am- Time I arrived back to my snow-covered, yet very warm home.

An hour and 15 minutes is much better than the 6 hours I spent in a Las Vegas DMV a few years ago. This reason alone ALMOST makes up for this town not having a Target.

Christmas Pictures

Here are some pictures of little Addy on Christmas morning. She was so much fun to watch while she explored her new toys and books. Also, I do realize that I am the worst photographer ever.

Addy loves her new tunnel. Thanks, Aunt Min! She crawls through it MUCH faster than her mom!

This is when she first came out of her room and saw what Santa brought.

She liked showing Grandma and Grandpa her new toys.

Opening presents with Dad.

Yeah! We have a doll house in our home. I love little girls!!!
