Our Week

Here's our week. Nothing too spectacular, but just hanging around Addy is always an adventure.

Tyler and his little Tennessee fan. Go Vol's. Tyler takes Addy outside to play just about every evening. He is a hit with all the neighborhood kids. When he pulls up from work, the kids line up at the garage and ask when he and the baby will be out to play. They never ask when if I can come play though?????????

Against her daddy's wishes, Addy loves the kitties. She follows them around everywhere and they all play together.

I love winter clothes, especially fuzzy boots. It didn't really make sense to own fuzzy boots in Vegas. But, now that we live in the frozen tundra, Addy and I went shopping for fuzzy boots. Tyler came too, but couldn't find any in his size =).

I am always relieved to find something that will keep Addy entertained. Last week was coloring (which is hilarious, by the way), this week is bubbles.

A Corner for Addy

I have always wanted a house with the coolest playroom on the planet. But, right now, while we are trying to figure out what to do with our lives, we have a room that must triple as a family room, office and playroom. This is my feeble attempt to have the coolest playcorner on the planet. I hope my poor child is not scarred for life due to the small amount of space she has to play. I promise it won't last forever, Baby. Believe it or not, Tyler, Addy and I can all fit in that tent thing- at the same time!

Baby's First Vacation

We embarked on our first vacation with little Addy. We went to Colorado and found out that a baby sure has a way of turning a 6 hour drive into a 12 day! We also found out that poor Addy gets car sick; we now keep the car stocked with plenty of wipes, a towel, plastic bags and a change of clothes. I felt so bad for her. We had a lot of fun. Addy was such a good girl and it is so much fun to watch her learn and explore. Here are some of the things we did:

We stopped half-way through the drive to give Addy a break. We hung out in a mall for a few hours and let her play in the play place and ride in a helicopter. She was so cute!

We attended the Broncos vs. Raiders game. It was a blast. As you can see, the venue is huge and the atmosphere was great.

We went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs. I have never been to the zoo before (at least that I can remember), so I think I may have been more excited than Addy. She was just probably wondering where her crazy parents were dragging her next! The giraffes were everyone's favorite attraction. Addy was so brave; she feed a cracker to one. She only did it once though!

Sidenote: If you are ever traveling to Colorado Springs and need a good hotel, we can recomment one. The hotel we stayed in had a waterslide, people. A WATERSLIDE! Not a lame one; a good one. What a concept.

On the way home, Addy got her first Chuck E Cheese experience. She liked riding in the car with him and playing skeet ball. Tyler and I pooled our ticket together and got a pretty pink braclet for her.
