Project Number One.....
This weekend Tyler and I started our first major house project in this house.... Addy's room. The entire house is painted in this brown color, which we really like and will keep in most of the house, but not in a little girl's room. Here is what it looked like when we started.

This is what it looks like now, which is just crazy looking, but will all come together after Tyler puts up the bead board. My mom is passing through town on a little vacation/family visit, so Addy and I are going to jump in with her. Tyler and his friend, Nushawn will enjoy the bachelor lifestyle while I am gone and are supposed to finish the room. I don't know if Nushawn knows that is what he will be doing, but will find out soon enough.
The Little Girl
A couple that I went to high school with lives close by us. You've got to love high school sweethearts. Anyway, their little girl is a few months older than Addy. They went sledding the other day and had so much fun. Addy is the one with the yellow blanket; I know it is hard to tell under all the winter clothing.

These are just some pictures of her that I think are adorable.

Benefits of a Smaller Town
I just wanted everyone to know, especially the Vegas subscribers, that I had to go to the DMV to get a new Driver's License today. I even had to take a written test, get a new photo, etc....
9:05 am- Time I left my house.
10:20 am- Time I arrived back to my snow-covered, yet very warm home.
An hour and 15 minutes is much better than the 6 hours I spent in a Las Vegas DMV a few years ago. This reason alone ALMOST makes up for this town not having a Target.

Christmas Pictures
Here are some pictures of little Addy on Christmas morning. She was so much fun to watch while she explored her new toys and books. Also, I do realize that I am the worst photographer ever.
Addy loves her new tunnel. Thanks, Aunt Min! She crawls through it MUCH faster than her mom!

This is when she first came out of her room and saw what Santa brought.
She liked showing Grandma and Grandpa her new toys.
Opening presents with Dad.
Yeah! We have a doll house in our home. I love little girls!!!

Christmas was Merry
Wow! It has been forever since I have updated and I have been taking some heat for it.... so, here is a small update. Christmas morning and new house pictures will follow after I get a chance to breath for a minute.
Christmas has been wonderful. Patrice and Allen stopped by on their way through for a little visit. It was great to see you guys. My mom came down to visit for the day on Saturday. She checked out our new place, played with Addy and did some shopping. Tyler's parents arrived Christmas Eve afternoon to spend Christmas with us. We ate, played games, ate, and ate some more. We also went of visit Tyler's sister Christmas evening.
Christmas morning was a blast. Of course, I couldn't sleep the night before because I was so excited for Addy to see what Santa left for her. She loved everything and threw an absolute fit when Tyler tried to put her in her high-chair to eat breakfast. Fit #2 came when I tried to make her have a nap later that afternoon. And there is another fit thrown every time we try to make her do anything having to do with leaving her toys for a minute.
Some of our present highlights:
Tyler got a talking Michael Scott bobble-head for his new office, which is already out of batteries and a Dunder Mifflin polo-style shirt, which he wore to work today. He also got a new mitt to play city league softball. Oh, how could I forget that he also got this thing he calls a "stem machine" where he places small pads on his back that "shock" it. Sounds painful, but he loves it.
I got some great accessories for my I-pod, which I am obsessed with. I can now listen to my I-pod with head phones, through a speaker or in the car. I can put it in a skin with a clip, a skin without a clip or in an armband when I run. I also got an itunes gift card which I will use up in about 5 seconds after I finish this post. I also got a juicer, which I have been wanting FOREVER. I have lots of recipes too, because every time I see a magazine with juice diets on the cover, I buy it. This has been going on for months now too, way before Christmas even!?!?!? Good thing I got a juicer so I didn't purchase those magazines for nothing.
I was very surprised that Tyler wanted to get the kitties a present, since he doesn't like them and complains weekly that we have to buy them food and liter. It all made sense to me when their present was a special brush that would nearly shave them bald so they wouldn't shed any fur in our new house.
Our Christmas was great. How was yours?

New Title
I finally figured out a perfect title for our blog. "On The Move", because we literally are on the move. Yes, we are moving again. We have been married for 5 years. This will be Tyler's and my fourth move and Addy's third move. That is almost a move year. Can anyone top that? I am not bragging about this; I actually despise moving, but what do you do?

Halloween Festivities
Here's how we celebrated Halloween:

We went with some friends to a pumpkin patch/hey ride/corn maze/carnival place. They have a little girls about 6 months older than Addison. They had fun together.

Addy was a giraffe for her second Halloween. She actually loved wearing her costume and LOVED random people filling her bag with candy.
